3 Fitness Challenges For 2023

There’s nothing quite like pushing yourself and trying out new challenges to help you stick to your goals and keep your motivation and determination levels high, no matter what.
Even the most ardent of fitness enthusiasts will struggle from time to time with their focus, so switching up the game a little and trying something new is a great way to make sure it continues to be enjoyable.
So, with that in mind, here are just a couple of fitness challenges that are coming up this year that you might find of particular interest. Which of these will you sign yourself up for first?
The Muddy Dog Challenge
What on earth could be better than training with your best four-legged friend? From this month (April), Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s Muddy Dog Challenge will be taking place around the UK on various dates, with events being held in six different locations, including Leeds, Stansted and the New Forest. There are 2.5k and 5k courses to choose from, so something for all abilities… and your pooch will have a great time!
The Yorkshire Marathon Festival
2023 marks the tenth anniversary of the Yorkshire Marathon Festival and the good news is that entries are still open for the event, which takes place this year on October 15th in the wonderful city of York. There’s also a post-event massage you can pop off for after you’ve finished running. You can’t say fairer than that!
Quest Adventure
Looking for a serious challenge? Then the Quest Adventure Series could well be just the ticket. The races are one-day multisport events with three or more routes that vary in difficulty so you’re sure to be able to find a race that suits you and your fitness levels.
Not only will you be able to enjoy running, cycling and kayaking, but you’ll get to do it in some of the most beautiful Welsh countryside you’ll ever see. And that’s certainly not something to be sneezed at!
